1. Overview

Exodo LLC, doing business as Exodo IT ("Exodo IT," "we," "our," or "us"), is a managed IT services provider headquartered in West Lafayette, Indiana. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at exodoit.com (the "Site") or contact us to inquire about our services.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site. This policy does not govern data we process under a written services agreement with business clients; those obligations are defined in your applicable service contract.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you fill out our contact or assessment request form, we collect:

  • Full name and job title
  • Business name and industry
  • Business email address and phone number
  • The content of your message or inquiry

We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal data through this website.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain data is collected automatically, including:

  • Log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Device information: General device type and screen resolution.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and navigation paths.

This data is collected via Cloudflare (our hosting and CDN provider) and Google Analytics 4. See Section 4 for details.

Bot-Protection Data

Our contact form uses a client-side proof-of-work verification service to confirm that submissions come from real humans. This service performs its computation entirely in your browser and does not use third-party cookies or transmit personal data to external servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations
  • Provide information about our managed IT services and pricing
  • Send follow-up communications relevant to your inquiry (you may opt out at any time)
  • Analyze aggregate site usage to improve content, navigation, and performance
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies & Analytics

Essential Cookies

We store your cookie consent preferences in your browser's localStorage. This is strictly necessary for the Site to remember your choices and does not track you across other websites.

Google Analytics 4

This Site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and report aggregate, anonymized data about how visitors use our Site.

Data collected by Google Analytics may include:

  • Pages visited and session duration
  • Geographic region (country/state level)
  • Device type and browser
  • Referral source (how you found us)

Google Analytics data is processed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Hosting & Infrastructure

Our Site is served through a third-party hosting and content delivery provider. That provider may process certain technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages, provide DDoS protection, and optimize performance. This processing is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.

Managing Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the Site. Note that essential functionality (e.g., storing your consent preferences) relies on localStorage rather than traditional cookies.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information in limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the Site and responding to inquiries (e.g., email hosting, CRM tools). These vendors are contractually obligated to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and to maintain appropriate security.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Exodo IT, our clients, or others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information submitted to us. As a cybersecurity-focused IT services provider, we take data protection seriously and apply the same standards internally that we recommend to our clients, including encrypted transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain inquiry and contact form data for as long as necessary to respond to your request and maintain a reasonable business record of our communications, typically no longer than 3 years from your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law or a contractual obligation.

Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (Google Analytics) is retained per Google's standard data retention settings (14 months by default for user-level data).

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time. See Section 8.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Indiana residents are covered by the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act (INCDPA), effective January 1, 2026.

You may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Data Portability: Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising, so this right does not currently apply.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension when reasonably necessary. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Because this is a B2B marketing website and we do not collect sensitive personal data, many requests can be fulfilled quickly. If we are unable to fulfill your request, we will explain why.

9. Children’s Privacy

This Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
